Quality depends on details – the saying is perfectly right if we talk about window joinery. Even though profiles and glass units offer excellent performance but the applied seals are of poor quality or are improperly fixed – the WINDOWS are worthless. Seals seem to be minor window elements, but in fact they determine very important parameters including:

  •  thermal insulation;
  •  water-tightness;
  •  ventilation;
  •  acoustic insulation.

Our seals are highly resistant to weather conditions, and they are also ductile, and hence resistant to deformation. These are the qualities of the material used for manufacturing the seals – synthetic rubber, commonly known as EPDM. This is why, our EPDM seals can be described as:

  •  resistant to ageing;
  •  resistant to changing weather conditions;
  •  performing well in the temperature between -40 and +110 C degrees;
  •  resistant to humidity, steam or UV radiation;
  •  highly elastic;
  •  resistant to cracks and deformation;

MACO MULTI-MATIC – a new generation of fittings

Fittings in a window structure are responsible for proper opening and closing of a window sash. Window fittings allow to set different sash positions: side-hung, tilt, turn-tilt, slide-tilt, slide-fold.

When buying windows, one needs to take into account if a given solution offers significantly better performance in terms of security, functioning and comfort. TUR-PLAST uses window fittings produced by the reputable MACO company. The products offer security and reliability for many years.

Characteristic features of the MACO MULTI-MAC fittings include:

SAFEGUARD AGAINST FAULTY CONTROL

The MACO company is one of the first manufacturers who equipped standard fittings with the mechanism blocking window operation in the case of faulty handle position. It is integrated with the sash lifter which has been improved even further. The mechanism prevents the so called „sash slip” from the top hinge, which frequently causes client complaints.

ADDITIONAL TILT SETTING FOR „SLOT VENTILATION”

The function allows to leave small slot between the window frame and sash which guarantees continuous, controlled inflow of fresh air.

  • The micro-ventilation function is entirely integrated with the stay;
  • when switching to the tilt setting at 45 o, the sash stands out approximately 10-13 mm;
  • The ventilation setting is not affected by draught or wind.

ADJUSTABLE i.S SECURITY CAMS – intelligent security

The security cams are equipped with their own pressure control and hence:

  • seal windows tightly;
  • reduce costs;
  • distinguish our windows from the products offered by the competition.

UNIFROM SIILVER-LOOK COATING AND CONNECTING EDGE COVER PROVIDING PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSION

MACO is the first manufacturer who, since 2000, has been applying silver passivation treatments with electro-zinc coating, free of Chromium (VI), and wax coating without using silicate.
The changes improved the protective qualities of the fitting surface and eliminated the use of Chromium (VI). Steel fitting elements are coated with zinc, chromium or wax.

DOOR SNAPPER FOR BALCONY DOORS

The snapper keeps the sash in the frame without the need to use the window handle. It turns off automatically if the sash is in the tilt position. Adjustable height.

3D HINGE REGULATED IN THREE DIRECTIONS !

The set of bottom hinges can be regulated in three directions (height adjustment, side adjustment and compression setting). The stays allow to lower and lift sashes and to adjust contact pressure.

i.S. STRIKER PLATES

A special composition of high-quality materials and specialist casting procedures ensure complete stability. The fittings are screwed into the frame reinforcement.

FITTING PARTS WHICH ARE RESISTANT TO BREAK-INS CAN BE EASILY FIXED

Should increased window security be desired at a later date, it is very easy to change the standard striker plates for the i.S. security striker plates thanks to identical screw positions.
The standard fittings have two security points. The fittings of class Wk1 have four security striker plates. The fittings of class Wk 2, however, have between 8 and 10 i.S. security striker plates.
